I understand the team or most of the team in solidarity won't be attending the White House if formally invited. Also understand the ladies are lobbying for equal and identical pay to their men counterparts in both their regular professional leagues and during International competitions. Though I understand the drive for consistent and equal pay in the regular private job sectors, can't say that any professional sports teams pay women anywhere near equal to men whether it be golf, basketball, tennis, etc.....Much of pro sports is about bringing viewership, media revenues and sponsor $$$ revenues to the table and quite honestly women's sports simply does not do that anywhere near men's sports and that is where the disparity starts and ends in terms of justifying relative "pay". Does the THF ever think women will be paid equal to men in any professional sport?

Men and women should be paid the same percentage of the revenue that their respective league generates

If men generate $1,000,000,000,000 annually and get 10% they earn = $100,000,000.
If women generate 500,000,000 they should get 10% of that = $50,000,000

The WNBA has never operated in the black so I don't know why they think they have an argument.

The woman's soccer team should be making the same as the men, but apparently they have a CBA in place between the teams for certain revenue streams. So a part of that is on them for not making a good deal. The problem with the national teams is that you really only hear from them every 4 years so people only jump on that train when they are on tv.

Trump said the women soccer team generated more money than the men soccer team the last 3 years....

I 100% agree. However, the women make a higher percentage of the pie than the men do. The problem is, the men’s World Cup brings in billions, while the women’s World Cup brings in less than $100 million. And it gets more complicated from there, because FIFA is the governing body who handles all of the money. But I agree the men and women should make equal percentages of the revenue generated by their respective teams. Or, US Soccer could decide to pay out bonuses for World Cup games won, with a kicker bonus (pun intended) for a World Cup Championship, which would heavily favor our women’s team, since our men’s team is light years away from winning a World Cup.

Pretty soon it may just be trans guys in women’s soccer that now think they are women. Women may wind up without a sport of their own. I actually look forward to that day. It’ll be a hoot.

But then trans (former) women might take over the NFL. Well...maybe not.
