Anyone own a Sig Sauer Romeo 5 red dot? Thinking about mounting one on an AR 15 pistol. Any advice on this optic would help.

I own 2 and am very happy with them. Easy to sight in, light weight and cost effective. I like the auto shut off/on by motion. If you forget to turn it off it will go off automatically until you pick it up, then comes back on. I have them on 2 of my 22 pistols.

Ditto. I have one on an AR a friend gave me. I picked the R5 up on impulse when they were on a PSA "Daily Deal" sale. I like it a lot and really like the auto-shutoff/Auto on feature. I've only had mine a few months but it's been solid so far.

They come with 2 separate mounts, a high and a low, which was appreciated. It's a nice piece of kit for the buck these days for sure. Feels solidly built and easy to use, very intuitive.

I've only had mine for a few months, so not much about the long-term reliability. I have it mounted on an RDB, so it's just a fun gun, but it's a great lightweight setup.

Yep, and I really like it. Came with my Ruger MPR.
