My deer just started growing horns a couple of weeks ago. They shed them way late this year.

Here are a couple of bucks at my house on June 17 this year. They have grown a lot since then and this year is looking good so far. Lot of bucks have made huge jumps even with below average rainfall to date. Had timely rains in the winter months and then followed up with a decent March and April.
These two bucks have grown a lot since mid June and one is now showing 5x5 frame and the other 4x4 frame. Just put my TC out in the past couple of days and should get more pics this week. Saw my first fawn back around the June 23rd or so. I had to take these photos very late evening and through 2 fences at my house so they are blurry.

You take great pics. I always enjoy looking at them. Do you even shoot deer anymore or just photograph them? I like to look at them and rarely shoot them anymore.

I still hunt as much or more than I used to and shoot a lot. I put 3 deer on the wall from last season. I watch them, photograph them and shoot what I like or need to shoot.
