A viral video of a woman opening a container of Blue Bell, licking the ice cream and placing the container back in the freezer has been linked to a Walmart in Lufkin, Texas Blue Bell says.

Staff recognized the location in the video where the "malicious act of food tampering took place," according to a statement on Blue Bell's website.

Blue Bell inspected the freezer where the licking incident took place and said it believes it located the half gallon of Tin Roof that was "tampered with," the statement said. She could face a second-degree felony charge of tampering with a consumer product, the Lufkin police department said in an email statement to NBC News. The charge comes with a two- to 20-year prison term and up to $10,000 in fines, according to Texas state penal code.

Investigators are also in discussions with the FDA and additional federal charges could be made.

When you open ice cream the lid is supposed to be stuck to ice cream. If not it has already been opened.
I heard that is how they seal it. When put in they turn upside down and freeze it to seal.

Lufkin PD has contacted the little *****...a juvenile from San Antonio. Will not be charged as an adult. There is audio but printing what the boyfriend calls her would get me banned...although it is a common term in their community...

I agree...we East Texans get more than our fair amount of ribbing but I guarantee you it is all over the place. Only Texas town I have been to in the last 15 years that I found to be relatively untouched is Glen Rose. Saturday evening on the square there was a cafe, several open shops and several good people pickin' and singing. Park was clean. Streets were clean and downtown was well maintained. We have an issue in most of far East Texas that most of you don't have. I will leave it at that...
