My granddad had an old dead tree dug up and this guy was coming out of it the next morning. Not sure if it was a big bull snake or rat snake. It was gone by the time I got the pup back in the camper.

That could be a king snake but I am not an expert. Looks similar to the one Rugger posted a few days ago.
