from what I heard, there are people that pay some pretty good coin for antlers ... I see ads all the time on Craigslist about buying them

$19 a pound was last I heard. My new pup is making quick work of my shed pile though. Kind of impressive in a away

If they are this years (fresh) antlers dogs love chewing on them and they are great for their teeth and gums.

Wouldn't have any Sika would you. It's very dense kind of between whitetail and moose, works great for flint knapping.

Years ago I used a few antler tips to make ceiling fan pulls. Saw of the tip you like, drill a small hole through it sideways, then drill out one end of the hole just a tad bigger. Feed the bead chain through it and throw on a bead chain "stop" that will tuck up inside the larger end of the hole that you drilled out (at the bottom) so it can't be seen. Really easy project and looks nice.

I did another set for a friend and they actually look better with the hole not straight through, so they hang at a angle. It's also easier to tell what they are that way.
