Any of you gents had one? I went in yesterday and had it done, I must say I’m not liking it right now. At what point does the sharp stabbing pain subside when you stand up?

Had it done May 10th. It took about a week before I could move around without a lot of pain.

Had it done years ago. Don't recall much pain but did learn that if you don't follow the Dr. advice there will be consequences.

It depends. Did you have laparoscopic or traditional surgery? I had it done via traditional surgery and it was quite painful for well over a week.

Mine had about a five inch incision. Dang staples were very annoying. They were in for a week. Dr. told me I'd have the surgery on Friday and be able to go to work Monday. Pure BS. I was out of work for the entire next week. Had to roll out of bed for three days.

I had mine done on Dec 22, 2018. I still feel periodic pain. I think the numbness will never go away.

Moe you should have lifted the keg after you drank it dry, it would have been less painful laugh

Yep, take it extra easy, also make sure you got soft number 2's, take something to make sure.

I had a laparoscopic inguinal hernia surgery a couple of years ago. Bu the third day I was fully recovered. On day four my left testicls swelled to the size of a baseball. Intense racking pain if unsupported. That lasted about a week. Other than that a piece of cake.

My testes were swelled up and got infected from the hernia, and they already feel better. I got those twins elevated like the doc said to keep the blood out, and hopefully they won’t get swelled again. I am going to be a lazy arse and lay around and watch tv, something I never do. I don’t want to go thru this again. If all goes well, I will go back to work Monday, and just won’t lift anything for 60 days.

My BIL had it done last year, 3 months later was doing it again because he failed to follow Dr.'s orders. Now he lives with pain. Please be smart and TAKE IT EASY! for at least 2 weeks after Dr says you are ok.
