Double layer cobbler
12 peaches peeled and sliced
2 cups sugar
1 stick butter
Cinnamon sugar with nutmeg mixed in
1 cup water
2 premade pie crust
1 tsp cinnamon
Put peaches, water, sugar, 1/2 stick butter and cinnamon in saucepan.
Bring to boil and then simmer for 15-20 min
Pour 1/2 of mixture in 13x9 Pyrex dish or something of similar size that has been coated with butter.
Place 1 piecrust on top, coat with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar nutmeg mix.
Bake for 20 min @ 375 or until crust is golden brown.
Pull out of oven, pour remaining mixture over top and place remaining piecrust on top. Brush on melted butter and sprinkle with more cinnamon sugar nutmeg mix. Bake @ 375 for another 35-40 min.
