Id like to make a friendly, gentlemens wager with the HF haters here.

Ill catch a hog & ear tag it with YOUR NAME. Ill release said hog on a local HF. Any of you haters who wanna show off what a badass hunter you are can come put your money where your mouth is.

put down $500 to start. If you shoot the hog, Ill give you back the $500 + $500 more. If you cant shoot the hog, Ill keep the $500.

Since your such a badass hunter, & the game is confined in a pen, you shouldnt have any problems getting this hog in a day. You can bring a bottle of water & a sack lunch. Hunt until either you shoot the hog or you give up. Stay & hunt as long as you can.

Shut your cake hole, put some money down, & show us all what an awesome hunter you are, show us that any HF ranch is really just a pen, & take home $500. You can prove everyone else wrong about everything all at the same time.

Whos in?

What is it with the "put your money where your mouth is" challenges? I don't like HF either, but, as I suspect most HF haters would agree, it's not that most of us think game is in a "pen" and easy to shoot, but when you confine the deer to a smaller area, it does up the odds that you will find and shoot the particular deer that you are hunting. It's also the mentality of deer as genetically engineered livestock, and the fact that deer are supposed to be "owned by the state", which drastically changes once you put up high fence. The game confined in a pen argument is what I hear more from the anti-hunters. Not the anti High fencers.

Just out of curiosity for who ever might want to take you up on the challenge, how many acres and what kind of terrain and cover is on the HF place?

This may be the weirdest thread of today. I'm sure it was designed to bring both sides together. Wait, no it wasn't.

To make this "FAIR"....I will tag a hog at the same time.....release it into Sam Houston National Forest.....I will hunt your hog and you hunt mine.

Whoever gets the other hog first wins!!!! Even if the hog is dead and gone.....bring in the tag and you win!!!

Which hog would everyone rather chase for the $$$.......I will give you a hint.....

THE HOG IN THE PEN......BECAUSE IT IS EASIER

Doesn't make any difference. If the fence is over 5', all animals inside instantly become "pets"; post-Revelation stuff - "The lion shall lie down with the lamb," etc.

Im not the 1 arguing that hunting in a pen is easy.

Accept my challenge. Quit trying to deflect, like a Democrat. If hunting a penned animal so easy, put some money up & come show us.

My issue with high fenced places is impact upon the movement of game owned by the State, or the people of Texas. The ranchers have fenced in what belongs to all, including their neighbors. I completely understand the argument that ranchers can fence their property. It is their right. I just don't like it. People have the right to free speech, as a parallel illustration, but I don't like what some people say as they exercise that right.

Doesnt matter. The Haters say anything in a pen is so easy hunting, an idiot can do it. Heres their chance to prove it.

Fair enough. Tell the state to come get their deer, & they can reimburse me for feeding them all these years. I would gladly give away the Kings deer if I could own whatever I put inside a HF (like whitetail).

If your child ncernefed about muh deer migration, what about urban sprawl? Should we shut down new building construction because it effects deer movement?

what area of the state? I know it doesn't matter from the standpoint you put up the challenge, I am curious from a standpoint of how far I might have to travel to give it a try ...
