My cousin is giving me his high rack and blind. We’re going to see if we can modify it to fit the Ranger.

If you want some friendly advice, get a haircut and take a bath. You wouldn't get hassled so much.

The only problem with the rangers is the rear suspension. I’ve owned 4 over the years since 89. Get some serious helper springs for the rear and you’ll be good to go. Otherwise just stepping on the tailgate drops it 3-4”. I can’t imagine what a top heavy rack would do in a little wind. You can’t tear them up, I’ve tried.

Nice vehicle. I had a 1989 extended cab. 4X4 with 6 cylinder and 4 speed manual transmission. Gas mileage was lousy b today’s standards, only averaged 14-15 mpg.
Good luck with your new truck.

No offense please and maybe its just my lack of vehicle buying experience along with no mechanical skills but when I pay only 2000 for any vehicle I never attach the words scored or good deal until ive had it a year or so. I actually just yesterday watched with my 101 yr old Mom the Andy Griffith episode when Barney bought his first car- it did not go well! Not trying to jinx you and I would say that about ANY vehicle and best of luck.
