Last weekend, I flew in from Atlanta to hunt pigs at Hunters Creek Ranch in Mount Vernon, TX.

I just wanted to tell you a little bit about my experience there.

My group of boys from Atlanta travel a lot hunting all over, here and abroad.

This place was simply amazing, not for one second was I treated like a guest, they treated my hunting partner and I as if we were family members that they havent seen in 10 years.

We saw and killed pigs every hunt.

Tony our guide really went out of his way to insure we had a great hunt.

Doreen is a fabulous cook. Hell, Id go back there just for the food.

We have already booked and looking forward to our return trip.

I guess I had better say something nice about Bobby or he will get his feelings all hurt and everything, the only nice thing I can think of to say about him is...............he did show up for dinner on time everyday

Make no mistake about it, Doreen is the boss of this outfit.

Live Big,
Chuck

I've never been, but your story is the same as others that get told, they seem to really treat their hunters well. Glad you had a great time.

Did you do a dog hunt? If not, you need to book one on your next trip. Watching Bob and Tony work the dogs is amazing. I'm glad you had a good time and shot some hogs. I've been a customer for 5 years.

God bless John Wayne!

We did not get a chance to dog hunt. Next March in bringing my best friends sons with me to dog hunt.
We hunted until after midnight each night and slept all afternoon.

Going to try to gar fish with Bobby this August.

You guys really have something really special in Texas, our politics in Georgia is going to be our downfall.

I am thankful to have a place to hunt in Texas where I am 100% comfortable. Just solid, down to earth people.

Now ,I am a Closet Texan!!!

Chuck

Glad you had an awesome time there at HUNTERS CREEK RANCH. I’ve been saying this for years now. We have been going down there from Omaha for the past 9 yrs. They run a GREAT ranch. (We all know who “they” truly are huh DOREEN..lol) sorry Bob..just kidding !
And as for Doreen’s cooking... you are spot on!! Over the past 9 yrs we have had some amazing meals..I’ve even had to get some of her recipes. (Did you have her Chicken Spaghetti??? Yum).

If anyone would like more info... hit me up!! Safe hunting.
