My country neighbor wanted me to look at a picture from his game camera and tell him what I thought it was. Well, I do believe it was a cougar. It was a quartering shot from the right rear. Solid color. Rounded ears. Long tail. No, I don’t have a copy of the picture.
We are located at the lower left corner of Limestone County, in case you wonder.

I would not be surprised. TP&W has been collecting data on them, you might want your neighbor to call the local GW.

I believe it. Seen one. No gun or camera but there you have it. A couple of years ago, neighbor had 2 calves attacked, one of them killed. Definitely a cat. I had a calf disappear during the same time frame. Upper Robertson county so near your area.

I live in Freestone country and guaranteed there are mountain lions in both counties

See the 10th little box, 2nd to the right of the emoji box? Click on it and it will allow you to upload and image. Use the browse button to find the file, click on it. Then click to upload.  I was wrong.....not a house cat!!!!! Where is the long tail? That is a plain old BOB Spots on ears and spots on legs....you can even see a spot on is SHORT STUBBY TAIL!!

Yea, I was hoping to see a big old cougar myself. Well, at least it was not just a house cat as most of the sightings are.
