Really, a tornado?

I haven't been listening to radio or tv but have been watching radar on computer. You can see the hook echo on that storm right over Greenville really well. Would not be surprised at all if they had a nader.

Bill I love you to pieces, but that is just wrong. Greenville, Leonard and Celeste got hammered. People's lives, homes and property are in jeopardy.

Downtown Greenville was hit hard by a tornado it seems.

Looks like a tornado hit Greenville. Hopefully not too terrible damage from pics unless you own a structure hit. You can only say "bring it" if you are in the path and prepared to lose it all imo... 200 miles way geez. Not that you will change mother nature but out of respect for those going through it. I don't recall us saying "bring it" to any hurricanes.

Also just saw a bad cell down South headed towards Franklin.
No fun watching this stuff roll through from 10K miles away while the Wife is sitting at home listening to the news and NWS.

Local pictures show downtown and east of downtown being hit the most. Only minor injuries reported so far. It was reported entire zip code of 75401 was without electricity, that's pretty large. As for Bill, @%$*&(!

Been helping out cleaning up. Lots of building damage in old downtown. Good friends shop lost a lot of metal and storefront damage. He will lose some business but thankful no one was seriously hurt. Town has really come together and the City has all crews helping out too.
We will all get the town back to normal soon. Good country town with good people and I’m dang proud to know a lot of them.

Bill, your comment is terribly uncalled for and it’s a good thing you live far away and are an older man. These people are good, hard working folks and many have lived and owned businesses here their entire lives. They don’t need your kind of “wishes” , they need support. That’s about as nice as I can be on the THF to keep from being put on the banned list.
