Just saw a T3X Lite SS in .308 go for $450 on Gunbroker. It closed at an off time or I would have been bidding. Am I off or is that pretty darned low? I have a T3 just like it and I don't think I'd sell it for that.

That does seem pretty cheap assuming it was in solid shape and not just a donor rifle with a shot out barrel.

Hard to know for sure, but it's hard to shoot out a .308 barrel on a hunting rifle. It looked pretty nice.

By the time you're looking at $30 shipping and $30 FFL fee, you're over $500 for one with an unknown round count, unknown history, can't see it in person first. I'd expect it to be $550 locally used, so $40 less than that with some risk and hassle of online is probably about right.

Picked up a used 300wm at a gun shop cheap. 420 out the door. Prices on older ones have fallen in the last year.

$450 for a T-3 Lite is right in line where they should be, for that bolt face and length. I've paid as low as $425 in person with cash. WSM bolt could bump the price just a bit. But I get heart burn paying more than $500 for one.

IMO, President Trump isn't a politician. And, his wife is hot.

I bought one of the older T3's from Europtics display model for $440 free shipping plus like $15 for transfer. To me, i was willing to pay the same for a used since it was gonna be a donor.

I’d say that’s a bargain price for an SS lite, about normal price for a used blued t3 lite. I’ve bought new blued lites in 223 and 22-250 for $475 on G.B.

But I see 308s not selling so well all the time on classifieds, so a 308 t3 lite may not be an especially hot item other than for a donor. You won’t see a nice used SS lite in 6.5cm or even 7mm-08 selling for less than $600 (probably closer to $700)

the thing about tikkas, they aren’t only good as donor actions. Most guys out there (THF regulars notwithstanding) aren’t buying them to rebarrel. They typically shoot as is so why not buy one in an interesting chambering like 243, 7mm-08, 6.5cm, 8 twist 22-250...

I would agree if it was a blued gun but an SS most of the time, fetches over $500 if its in good shape.

And again, after shipping & FFL, this one is over $500 cost to the buyer.
