Texas A&M will become the first SEC football team to allow stadium-wide beer and wine sales. You in?

SEC has been complicated on beer sales. These states are operating on antiquated liquor laws.
I did go to an Ole Miss game once and like their setup.

You bought a locker and could keep all your liquor in the locker. It was a good setup.

We usually just have a flask in our pocket at the game for medicinal purposes only ...

Having been to Kyle field. That's the last thing a bunch of Aggies need, the students and alum seem to get lubed up enough in the parking lot.

Probably why they are doing it. I went to A&M....Everyone gets trashed while tailgating outside the stadium and sneaks beer in anyway. Might as well make a ton of money selling it in the stadium...

If I pay as much as it costs to watch the game in person, I am not going to drink.

2 years ago I went to a game at Kyle Field. Alcohol was for sale in the back, but you could not take it into the seats.

Heck yeah! They will start throwing stuff like us in Lubbock!

If they cannot sit through a football game with alcohol, they might need to see a counselor about alcohol abuse.

I never got the tortilla thing. Were they overstocked at the dining hall?

Is this new? I went to school there in the late 90’s and could have swore we bought big cups of beer that had the seasons schedule printed on them.

You would not believe the tortilla aisle at the Albertsons across the street. Never saw such a huge selection of tortillas and water (since Lubbock water back then was the worst. Reminded me of summer camp.) Apparantly an Aggie announcer said all there was in Lubbock was a tortilla factory. The band dudes took it to heart to prove them right... They would set them out in their dorms to make them fly better. I saw a dude get nailed on his glasses knocking them off and breaking them. I just ate them with meat inside. They would announce during the games it was a 15 yard penalty if any objects were thrown onto the field back then after kickoff. Detroit apparently has a lot of octopus.

So if you get hammered at an aggies game, do they suck less? Asking for a friend.
