I have a wood stock Norinco JW-15 bolt action I'm thinking about building up for one of these THF .22 competitions after reading how fun they sound. Any recommendations for how or what I should do improve the rifle, or any history on one of these? I picked it up from a pawn shop about 5 years ago for a $100 bill. Shoots real good as it its, but I know there's a lot of competition out there! Thanks for any recommendations or information on the rifle.

I have a JW-15.
It's a chinese copy of the CZ 452. The finish isn't as good as on the CZ, but shoots well and has a decent trigger. I'm sure you can use it in matches. Just put on a scope and make sure to test some ammo to get an idea of the accuracy baseline and dope,

Thanks! Yeah I'm going to re do the finish on the stock. Shoots well for the price. Guess I will have to look into getting CZ magazines instead cause the original Norinco ones are outlandishly overpriced

Let us know if the CZ mags fit, as I have one too and would like a second magazine.
