This was an interesting read from this month's QDMA newsletter. I was wondering if any of you guys have ever seen/harvested a whitetail with facial stripes or fangs?

That would be a cool buck to catch and put in a pen with a bunch of south Texas does....talk about a cool combination, large typical rack with face paint and fangs.....

You know these HF places, it is all about the trophy fangs.
I wonder how you score that?

Those little muntjacs have fangs.

I shot a deer last year in west Texas with the fangs. I'm the designated cull killer, so I shot him on the count of being extremely ugly and old. I drop all bucks with decent hides off at a taxidermist for him to donate to a taxidermy school. He called me and told me about the fangs, and has only seen 1 other deer with them. Now the ugly SOB stares at me all day in my office and I love it. Doubt I'll ever get a chance at an uglier deer.

Cull masterpiece below:

Oh boy....with that skull what great stories around the deer camp campfire could be spun about the vampire deer lurking in the woods waiting to attack young children and old men walking to their stands in the dark.....j rofl

I'm definitely using this story now.
