I’m not following. The float?
I do not use autopay but I do pay all my bills online. This was for my May electric bill. It went to Master Card today. The Master card will close out on July 6. It will go to auto-pay to Chase on August 3. I told my daughter not to close out my Master Card or Chase for three months when I go to see Jesus.

Can someone explain to Bill they are not "floating" anything, the auto-pay keeps billing his card each month because it is an expired card and the charge is not going through so it just keeps trying to bill it each month.
You need to give them a card that is not expired.

My FIL used to do that. He had stickers on his cards to help him figure out which one to use. I never quite got that.

Kind of surprising they haven't sent you a notice to shut off you electricity for non-payment on an expired card, or at least that your card is expired and they need a new one on the account.
