I did laugh though...what did they say when you asked about a chemical company sponsor?

Its just an online survey so I am sure I will get not response but I would wager that it is sponsored research that has a financial interest in the results of our opinion.

I received and completed survey. Not a fan of poisoning approach for practical reasons.

I submitted my questionnaire. I don't like the idea of using poisons.

Love the title of the survey. Gives me a warm fuzzy about my relationship with hogs

Yes, got the email and responded that I have no issues with any means the TPWD deems acceptable.

I still haven't got one yet. But I would say no to poison. Honestly, I think people that are dealing with hog problems have already learned to make money off em. For a guy on a very low budget, with very little free time, $200 is a great price to go shoot up a bunch of hogs at somebody's feeder and stock the freezer with fresh pork. That seems about the going rate to hunt pigs.

So the hog issue to me comes down to competition with native species. The deer seem to be doing just fine, so what else? I have a great uncle that still raises cattle, he is not begging any of us to come kill the feral pigs. Lol.
