That's strange. Dallas has a serious police shortage but they have time to monitor parked cars?

Fort Worth folks crack me up, like they are living in luckenbach Circa 1970. The only thing that separates Dallas from tarrant county is an invisible line. there is a reason they call it big duh. Oh I live in Grayson county. I say life's to short to live in DFW. Because it's all the same including most of every adjoining county. I don't go south of 380 myself. It's too scary beyond that point.

They're not monitoring parked cars. Dispatch just lets them know the car is on the tow list if it gets reported stolen.

Different Departments, Parking Enforcement, not DPD.

It was for work. I’d put it on my expense report and go on. Company should cover it. If they were parked illegally it would be the individuals responsibility to cover the cost, if they were legal, then the company has no legal responsibility to pay the expense. Tax law won't allow it to be written off either.
