I’d say either one will get it done!

Is that a stock Ruger 10/22 mag? Rare to see one with a good bolt.

Looks like an American Rimfire Target model.
Good shooting.

I built myself a 10/22M a while back. It shoots too. Ammo can get pricy though.

Cast, everything on the rifle is stock as a rock. The only thing I did to it was adjust the trigger down from 6 pounds to 3.5 pounds using the "Ruger approved" method as outlined in the owner's manual. I'm really liking this little rifle, and since it comes suppressor-ready, I may put one of Ruger's 22 suppressors on it. https://ruger.com/products/americanRimfireTarget/specSheets/8368.html

That is nice. The bottom one is the 10/22 mag I built long ago.

Looking good. Carbon fiber barrel on the Mag? What stock?

Ya know, I don’t remember. Most of that build came from rimfire central. I bought the stock used.

I have a Magnum Research, and it shoots better than either of the 10/22Ms I've owned. But my current favorite is my Ray-Vin upper... and it shoots really nice as well.

I bet those fmj would be awesome on small game. Save the critical defense for things you don't like to eat!

Those are good groups. I’ve been looking at those rifles and the Marlins.

I went ahead and put a more reasonable optic on this little feller: It's a red/green dot sight with 4 reticle options. It's much better at rapid target acquisitions for the varmint control usage at 50-60 yards. The target groups opened up slightly, as expected, but still well within "minute of raccoon" requirements, and the two masked bandits I've taken out could verify this. But they don't speak to me anymore. . .
