Made a trip out to the ranch to look for some hogs this weekend. We were able to locate and dispose of 1 boar, saw a ton of fawns that couldn't have been more than a week old, and blew up some fruit with Tannerite. Fun weekend over all!

Found this print. My first thought is Turkey but it seemed like a really large print for a turkey. Three Toed Yeti? muyloco

That's what BIL said but we've never seen or caught any on camera.

Turkey, when the soil was wet, then dried out without being disturbed... turkey had a little mud already "balled" up on/around his toes so the impression left is the size of a turkey "wearing" muddy boots.

Was this near a pond bank? If so, great heron would be my guess.

To be sure of hitting the target, shoot first and call whatever you hit the target.

No pond, but it was pretty close to an area with a flowing spring.
