Just don't buy them. You can't drag them in a straight line without them kinking. You get what your pay for.

And once they kink, they always kink in the same place afterwards and crease and get a hole in them.

My MIL laughed when I put water hoses on my wedding registry, been a damn good hose.

Seems as if I always need a few extra feet. The 60 foot hose works better for me.

Thought this was common knowledge

Last water hose I bought was a higher end "Commercial Grade" orange one from Home Depot. That is by far the worst hose I have ever owned. Price isn't everything.

Cheap hoses are good when your kids are young and they are doing the mowing and watering.

It certainly makes for a bad day when you get a kink in your hose. Especially when it is at full pressure.

That gave me a full body shiver/cringe

I have several of the Nelson Traveling Tractor looking sprinklers and have no use for cheap water hoses. They have to be pretty heavy duty and absolutely no-kink to not have issues.

I would reply but believe it would be sig worthy so will abstain - kind of like the other Ox post on breast feeding.

I still have and use everyday a 20+ year old Sears Craftsman rubber hose. It was expensive at the time. I think I got my $ worth!

I have had my water hoses for 23 years now, they are still doing great (starting to show minor signs of stiffening) and have a few more years left in them. Each has a splice caused by a lab puppy 13 years ago. There is no lettering left to identify them and I have no idea where I got them. I hope to find some like them when they finally give up.

I get the toughest ones I can find now. Cheap hoses make me madder’n heck when I’m doing stuff.

And those goofy ones that expand and retract with the pressure, they’re good for like a month. Pure junk.
