I prefer Pappas Brothers Steakhouse to V&A, but both are great.

They are both great, though itís been years since I was in either. If thereís a Pappas Steakhouse actually downtown these days, thatís where Iíd go.

Another good place to try for special occasion meals is Jonathan's the Rub. Two of my last 3 wedding anniversaries have been spent here for the celebration meal.

It is located near the intersection of Interstate 10 and Campbell Road.

They serve steaks, seafood, and some pasta dishes.
