I complained about a month ago. Here is their response.
We usually get the HEB brand that have 6 in it. I hate that the HEB brand buns are not fully sliced. They are still connected in the middle and sometime they break when you pull them apart.
Someone must have complained. The new package I got was sliced all the way through.
