I have sone venison ham steaks that have been tenderized within an inch of their life. Would this make good jerky meat?

I think venison steaks would be a great meat to use.
I have used pork loin and eye of round both for jerky. On both meats I try to trim any visible fat and connective tissues off of the raw meat.
The hardest part for me has been finding a seasoning blend that I like the flavor of after the meat is dried.
Luck favors the prepared mind.

I’ve recently began making my own jerky. I’ve settled on Dale’s Steak Seasoning as my preferred marinade. Makes very flavorful jerky. Throw in some liquid smoke and it has produced a great a great product. Give it a try.
