I have many drill bits. I don’t like Ryobi. I do like Milwaukee. For paddle bits Bosch can’t be beat.

Cool. Good to use thier screw guns. I have go in the morning. May grab a set. Have a few loose hex shafts. A set would be good to have.

Dewalt makes good bits too.

If the 2nd amendment was written just to include guns for hunting, why is there not an amendment to protect fishing poles?

It depends on the use, for wood or metal. Do you really need a set or will you only use 3 or 4 of them?

Bosch seems to work for me on wood, metal and concrete. Not the cheapest but does a great job.

Don't get the ones from HF,they have a smooth shank and if it gets tight drilling, the drill spins around them.

Bought 2 sets, one for me, one for my brother.
Good value.
Thanks for the post.

You have to be careful using the smaller sizes they will twist off the 1/4 in adapter

That set looks pretty good since it has duplicates of the smallest three. I have multiple sets without those because they broke.

For drilling metal, expect to spend $75+ for a decent set w/ about 12 bits. If it's a good set w/all the sizes in between that the cheap sets don't offer, expect to spend $125+. A $20 set of bits won't last but 1 or 2 decent holes.
For wood, a $20 set is fine.

Cheap ones like that suck. To have one that will last any time at all, you have to at least get Milwaukee. I found it out drilling through purlins.

And they're all gonna get dull regardless, the good ones just don't break or die after one hole

Have two drill index’s loaded with bits from 1/16” up to 1”. One is Blue Point and other is Snap On. Have had for over 30 years and still going. Need to be sharpened every now and then, but learned that in machine class in collage. up up

First thing I noticed. Have others in tool room roll around. These go on truck. At my stage in life, expect to be my last set I ever buy.

He also taught us, the main thing to do was, use a good lube, go slow, not too much pressure, and you and the piece you are working on will both have a happy ending! Been true to life in my experience! up bolt
