It's kind of like getting a tax refund. The government is only giving something back that was ours all along.

Here are the hunting and fishing access changes that will occur in Texas.

Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge: Expand existing migratory game bird, upland game
and big game hunting to 822 new acres.

Inks Dam National Fish Hatchery: Formally open to sport fishing for the first time.

Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge: Expand method of take for existing big game
hunting on 27,100 acres to further align with state regulations.

Lower Rio Grande Valley National Wildlife Refuge: Expand method of take for existing
big game hunting on 5,933 acres to further align with state regulations.

Trinity River National Wildlife Refuge: Expand method of take for existing upland
game hunting and season date ranges for existing big game hunting to further align
with state regulations on 9,024 acres. Moving all refuge hunts, including existing
migratory game bird hunting, to state lottery system.

Interesting ... Fishing in the hatchery? or access to the upper portion of Lake LBJ along where the hatchery is located???

had a friend's dad who ran that hatchery and we used to go frog gigging around the ponds
