I guess I'm missing something, but when do you apply for the draw hunts and how long after you apply do they do the draw? This will be my first time applying for a draw hunt and I want to make sure that I dont apply incorrectly, too late, etc.

Catalog generally comes out end of June/beginning of July. Apps can be submitted anytime after the catalog comes out. Draws vary by species and type of weapon and are usually 8/15, 9/15, and 10/15 deadlines.

What Blank said. They generally draw the hunts one or two days after the deadline.
