Yeah, let him ban suppressors and have mandatory turn in or destroy like he did with bump stocks and then lets see how many on here say its no big deal like they did with the bump stocks. People have spent a lot of money on them.

If he bans these, we need to hurry up and get him voted out of office before he takes away semi-autos and handguns.

Two types of people say things like this.

1) democrats.
2) people that don't own any.

Some of us have a lot of money invested in suppressors and are permanent attachments to our firearms. Even talking about the possibility of banning them is crossing the line IMO. To even consider it is total BS and a deal breaker to me.

I would rather Trump not jack with gun owners at all. Bump stocks are gone. Suppressors may follow. I hope the next shooting doesn't involve a 3-9X40 scope. Trading the current good economy for our civil rights, and those of our kids, is short-sighted. I won't vote for this dufus again if he continues down this path.

I'll vote for anyone who is pro-2nd Amendment. I don't idolize the politicians of either party and don't care for any of them. They are nothing more than government employees. That being said, very few Democrats are pro-2nd Amendment.

Our job as American citizens is to question everything the government does, not follow certain politicians as if they were rock stars.

I don't know who I'd vote for. Not that I agree with it but I can understand the bump stock ban. I could even understand something like reclassifying AR type pistols and shockwave type shotguns as SBR's. A ban on suppressors though makes no sense at all and either proves he's as dumb as some people think or just pandering to the left.

If he were to ban supressors, I would vote against him in the Primary. If he still won the nomination, I would still vote against whatever liberal, gun grabbing socialist he was running against.

We are in a bad place when the guy that gun owners thought to be the next 2nd Amendment supporter may executive order off our rights bit by bit. While we convince ourselves that we are better off with him. When we would have fought a Hillary like our lives depended on it.
With Obama, any hint of any gun rights issue was almost a cause for a revolution.
Yet here we are, thinking it was just bump stocks. The gateway executive order?

Do we destroy ourselves? Those on the left stay united even if they disagree on some points. I don't know why but it seems there are too many folks on the right that if ONE THING isn't to their liking then they don't vote at all or for some third party guy which is the same thing.
I don't use suppressors so I realize I don't have a dog in the fight. If I did, and if I spent a lot of money on them my view could be totally different.
The other thing, I strongly doubt suppressors account statistically for much crime, we cannot eliminate every problem on the planet.

I won't vote for a democrat over this, but the fact the president is even saying this really pisses me off. I don't have a suppressor and may not ever have one. However, he should be going the other direction and supporting getting them off of the NFA list. There is absolutely no reason anyone should have to go through the current process and cost to get a sound suppression device. This is an emotional knee jerk reaction by the president which has absolutely no merit. I just hope he has enough sensible people around him to pull him away from this asinine position.

If you are a gun owner you absolutely have a dog in this fight. It isn't just about suppressors. It is about our elected president showing a willingness to infringe upon our rights with executive orders. I don't have a suppressor either but Trump is wrong in this case.

When you are a negotiator, You don't show your hand. He is NOT going to ban semi autos, He may require firmer restrictions of silencers, or he may not. The left is pushing this to alienate the right. Lets have the discussion when the negotiation is over and not before it starts.

I think Trump would trade just about anything in return for wall funding.
