Looking for a mountain lion hunt. Anywhere in the US. Decent facilities. Likely just 1 hunter and 1 non-hunter. What do y'all reccomend? Who's the best?

You should PM Gary Roberson. He will know who you should look at booking with.

Get a guide with dogs that can dry ground track as well as snow.
NM and Arizona have big cats and close to you. Hopefully you can find someone that will work with you on hunting when conditions are right and not just a set time.
Southern Colorado would also be a good area to look into. I have not hunted lion with them but used Lobo Outfitters for an unguided turkey hunt. They treated us great and seemed very willing to help us get our birds, which we did.
I know a lion guide here in Laramie but that is a far drive for a big cat. However , you may run across a wolf while hunting cats up here and can take one on sight in our predator area, no license required.

Mt lion hunting can be very physically challenging, do some sand workouts to get ready for dealing with hunting in snow.

Joe Troyer in NM - he is still running cat right now. Dry or wet tracks. Awesome hounds man

Purchase a tag from the Navajo Nation for $250. Permit is good from Oct. 1 until June 30. Then you will need to get with Calvin Redhouse who is a guide there and also shoots video for CARNIVORE TV. He is a Marine that served 5 tours in Iraq and Afganistan and I consider him part of my family. He was born and raised on the reservation and hunts most everyday. To see some of his video and photos, go to Rez Hounds on facebook.
Adios,
Gary
