Does anyone have any info on this pistol or rifle? I'm looking at this AR pistol in 10mm. With an 8" barrel and feeding from Glock 10mm mags (which I have plenty of), I'm thinking this would make a great defense pistol. I'd probably try to add a Blade or something to the rear.

Hey Chad, I hope I'm not derailing your request but what is the advantage of this over a standard Glock 10MM? I just don't understand AR pistols.

My thought process is 2 reasons. An 8" barrel will get about 150-200 fps more velocity than a pistol length barrel will, so this will increase the energy of the round. I'm also looking for a compact rifle style platform that would be good for a truck gun or small enough to fit in a back pack. The main reason is something easier to shoot than a pistol, and has more energy than your typical pistol calibers.

But, you're right. My Glock G40 in 10mm with the 6" barrel and long sight radius I shoot very well. Between that and the AR pistol, there's not much "gain", I guess. I'm just thinking out loud here.

I too am in the market for a 10mm carbine/pistol. I am not paying over $1k for an AR pistol in 10mm. Did a lot of research and the aero survival series was at the top of my list but what won out was the Extar EP10 pistol. Less than $500 with the brace. Glock mags. Last round bolt hold open. Lighter weight than the aero and better looking (not that looks affect performance) imho. Only problem is it’s not out yet and I’ve been biting my nails waiting.
What id really like is another CZ Scorpion in 10mm...

Looks like price has gone up a bit since they first announced the EP10, but still a great price at only $550

Because with a brace you can shoulder AR pistols. It makes them a short, compact rifle-type firearm without having to go through the SBR nonsense. That being said, I don't like Blades at all. Put a SBA3 brace on that pistol and then you have something.

With a Blade, you can shoulder it also. The brace works fine also. The main problem I have with the braces are how bulky they are and the fact that they are rubber (or sticky). The main point of an AR pistol for me is compactness and maneuverability. The brace is much larger than a blade and fatter at the butt. This makes it less compact. And the braces I have seen are some kind of rubber or something that would catch on stuff when in use. The larger brace is just not for me. The blade fits my needs perfect. It's very thin and is solid plastic that slides instead of catching on stuff. The blade on my AR pistol 300 blk out is awesome. So, I already know what I want that will work well for me.

Maybe the braces of old that were designed to actually be velcro'd around your forearm. The new braces were designed to be functional "stocks" because they can now be shouldered. The new braces are basically stocks with a piece of velcro around them.

This is the SBA3 Choctaw was referring to, its on a 5 position adjustable carbine buffer tube and is adjustable just like any other carbine stock.

Well Chad, then slap a Blade on that pistol and get to work. It would make one heck of a defense pistol. I'd use it on pigs too. elmer

Would be cooler if somehow it can accept standard ar barrels as well.

I really like it either way and may get one, especially in 45! i've wanted a really good carbine format 45 that takes glock mag that reliable and affordable. These at first glance fits the bill.

I'm a dude who likes long barrels!

I've owned this puppy ( Bushmaster) for 10 or 15 years and use to carry it on the 4 wheelers when running fence lines out at the old place. The muzzle blast was a killer. Guess it would be on all.

You need a linear compensator. I like Kaw Valley Precision myself. It replaces your factory flash hider/brake. Designed to push all the blast downrange away from the shooter and bystanders.

Are these quick disconnect like the one on Bushmaster pistols. Mine is not threaded.

No, they are for threaded barrels. Did not realize your barrel is not threaded.

Ok, not to kick a fire and mound here or anything...But what's wrong with the RONI for this application? I have one for the G45 and I'm thinking of adding one for the G20. They just work and you still have access to your pistol, if you want it.

For me, wha keeps me from the roni is that it renders your pistol inoperable or the Roni inoperable if one or the other is being used. So you can’t holster the pistol since there is no frame, and just have a complete slide to keep up with, while using the roni. Then when using the pistol you have a empty chassis to keep up with. I want to be able to transition from one to the other without having to take one apart and rendering it useless to do so.

Your pistol just slides into the RONI. It is simply a gun holder. I can put mine in and take it out in seconds. It doesn't alter the pistol at all.

My apologies, you are correct. Was thinking gold something else. However you still have to keep up with an inoperable chassis when using the pistol. I want a PCC to compliment my pistol not transform it. You gain a longer barrel and performance with a PCC
