We’ve been battling a grass that seems to be immune to roundup. The grass is similar to monkey grass but it’s only a 1/4” wide and has a “wax” finish, if that even makes since. This stuff spreads like nobody’s business and we’ve kept it in check but with all the rain we’ve let it get out of control. Anyone have any suggestions on what to use to eliminate it besides burning everything to the ground?

It is nutgrass or nutsedge. Roundup won’t kill it.

Not a weed but a sedge. Need a specific poison.

Increase your Round-Up rate to 3.2 ounce per gallon

Still not enough to kill Bermuda, but make sure your Bermuda is tall, around +4".

Use Target 6. It's MSMA. Won't kill your Bermuda unless you overdose it. Image also does a god job on it. You need to water-in the Image.

The performance of Round Up depends on a couple of factors, one being the ph in your water and if it’s not acidic enough you can adjust it with vinegar. The second thing is timing of spraying weeds, weeds will only be affected by Round Up when they are feeding, which usually occurs after a rain.
