I don't know but on my way back from town today just on my road less than a mile from my house I seen a rattle bug and a rat snake. The rattle bug had just been ran over as it was still flopping around with its head smashed. The rat snake was just stretched out on the road and in a trance because it never moved at all as I pulled up and got a pic

Dang, sounds like you have lots of snakes around. I haven't seen very many this year, yet. As long as they stay out of my house, I'll give em a pass.

I give all the non venomous snakes around me a pass unless they are in the coop or in my yard. Even though they may not be venomous the bites can still Jack you up with all the nasty bacteria they could have in their mouth.
