Morning yall,

I'm a newbie when it comes to knives, but I lurk here pretty often and appreciate your talents. I'm looking to get a chef knife , and a smaller (not micro) EDC made. After seeing multiple examples on here, I like the pecan and mesquite scales. As far as blade, I'm not a huge fan of the Damascus, but more of the repurposed rasp or sawblade rustic look. If anyone has any concepts that sound similar, ID love to see them and what they cost. Thanks for your time and talents.

I don't use any rasp or sawblade stuff, but I could beat on some regular knife steel with a hammer and give it a rustic look!

It doesn't necessarily have to be rustic, it was just a thought I had that'd be neat, but not mandatory. holding and keeping a sharp edge, along with good weight distribution is my #1 priority. Id rather pay someone on here for their efforts instead of ordering on amazon.

I have knives from four makers that hang out here...love and appreciate them all...
