I was checking my bow out and got to thinking how old some of the stuff on my bow is, such as my sight is a Spot Hog that im pretty sure it like 4 or 5 years old, I have never since I have had a bow gotten a new peep sight or even looked into if one is better than another. I got a QAD rest that is as old as my sight. really i dont think I have made any upgrades to anything in 4 or 5 years.

I know technology with the bows change alot year to year but does it with the attachments?

So how often do yall upgrade stuff on your bows such as sights, stabilizers, peep sights whatever you have on there?

As long as my setup is working good for me, I do not change things. Sure there are new rests, sights and stabilizers out there but I have yet to see or install any that have made me ant to change out my QAD HDx, Old mercury stabilizer or True-Glo sight. Pick good stuff and take care of it and it can last you a long time.

Some of the Spot Hogg sights are the same as they were making 5 or more years ago and still are the toughest sights out there. Same for QAD rests

My QAD rest and True Glo tooless sight are about 8 years old and on their second bow. Everything is still working fine with lots of use.

This is good advice.

Unless you were going to a higher end kit I don't think you'll see any real differences.

Sounds like you've already invested in quality gear. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

I guess what i was trying to say was i had never thought about doing any type of upgrade, i have been real pleased with what i got.

but i do remember when i did first buy all this stuff and remember what a difference it made. so in the last 4 or 5 years have sights and stuff not advanced so much that is i or anyone were to switch out to the 2018 2019 stuff it wouldnt be that much of a difference?

With what you have I would just keep shooting unless you want a single pin sight
