Dallas Cowboys RB Zeke Elliott was handcuffed and detained at Las Vegas music festival on Saturday, according to TMZ Sports.

The outlet has video showing Elliott apparently shoving a private security guard to the ground at the Electric Daisy Carnival. The incident happened about 3 a.m. Saturday, TMZ said.

Elliott can be seen getting in the face of a staffer and backing him into a temporary gate, then Zeke pushes him to the ground.

Las Vegas Metro Police officers then show up and take him away from the scene in handcuffs.

Elliott’s attorney told TMZ that Elliott was not formally arrested or charged and he was merely detained for a few minutes by police after the incident. The attorney said the private security force “misconstrued and overreacted” to an animated conversation Elliott was having with his girlfriend.

Elliott’s actions could get him in hot water, again, with the NFL. Even though he was never formally charged over allegations of abusing an ex-girlfriend, Elliott was suspended six games after a lengthy back-and-forth in the legal system.

Looked like he leaned into the guard saying something like he is playing around, guard looks like he is smiling at what he is saying, as guard tries to step back to put some distance between them he trips on a metal barrier. Seems harmless to me, looks like any other 23 year old dude in vegas that had too much to drink.

He has been pretty active in the community doing things that make a positive impact on others lives.

Because he is a football star. Otherwise no one cares.
