Got the dock out this weekend. Bugs bad up there in the summer? Black flies will be starting in the next week and will be brutal until about mid June. Mosquitos, horse flies and deer flies will be starting soon as well but only bad if you are in the bush. I run a propane powered trap that knocks down the population around the dock and buildings so that usually you don't even need repellent in those areas. On the water it is usually fine.
