Awesome memories! That sure is a BLACK crappie he's holding in that one pic. Enjoy the heck out of it man! I did the same thing with my dad once. He had a stroke that afternoon when we got home...a mild one. We hadn't even cleaned the fish yet. I guess he got too hot. It was really weird, I'd never seen anyone have a stroke. His left eye just shot straight toward his nose, like he was cross eyed. That one didn't do him in, but it was the last time we went fishing together. He lasted a few more months. Then later I came home and found him laying on his bed. We figure he had a massive stroke or heart attack. And I'm not pooping on your thread, I hope, lol. Just know that you need to enjoy it NOW!

The Boss and I just made our first trip to Chattanooga last weekend. Now I'm trying to convince her we need to look there as our retirement home. I see why they call it Scenic City.
