San Saba River is on another big rise. Las Moras, Celery, Harris Hollow and Elm Creeks are also rolling. I heard a report that Poor Hollow was over Hwy. 190 in eastern Schleicher County.
Adios,
Gary

Don't live out that way but this is a good website to check for road closures, including due to flood.

I wouldn't doubt it. I heard one report of more than 7" of rain in Mason County from yesterday's storms.

Pay it forward - Kids are the future.

Rifles are similar to boats and young women...there's no end to how much money you can pour into them without making them any more useful.

We used to hunt just west of 'Poor hollow' on the figure 3 ranch. Loved that area. Our south entrance was the caliche road that takes you to the fort and big juicy cheeseburgers at the trading post. Just heard recently that the owner, 'Pete' passed. You're a lucky man to live down there, Gary. flehan used to go to Sam and Peggy's club, 'the pasture', on saturday nights. Sam could make a heckuva burger too.
