You ever smelt one? Just like a stinky boar hog, going to taste just how it smells. Same as pissed up rutting buck or elk. Be my guest, too strong for me but some people love it. I'll pass though. Then again I prefer quail over doves or duck. And axis over whitetail.

I have killed several and always ate them. They are ok at best and usually turn them into jerky. Aoudad had quite good flavor, but was tough as nails.

Only tried to eat one- a Corsican, so very limited experience. Thought it was the nastiest meat I have ever tried to eat. Was very greasy/ slimy. My dog at that time ate anything put in front of him. He would not even take a taste. Since I generally only hunt for meat, I have turned down a few goat/ sheep hunts that were bordering on extremely cheap.
