Street price needs to be $650 or less, IMO.

What’s wrong with a muzzle brake?

Good scope, good ammo, I wouldn't bet against it.

It looks nice, but I’ll just keep my Tikka T3X CTR. 6.5 Creed, 10 round detachable box mag, 20” barrel, and yes I installed a brake on it. Why not have a recoil/muzzle rise reducing device if it’s threaded? No the 6.5 doesn’t kick hard without it, but quicker recovery and to get back on target after a shot.

Yes, but I'd bet you paid right around the MSRP of this rifle. I highly doubt this rifle will sell for close to the same price as your ctr.

They already have a couple of these out in the "AR Calibers" for around $450 street price although they don't have the Magpul stock though.

At the Ruger's MSRP, the CTR comes into play and there's no chance I'm buying the Ruger over the Tikka for somewhat even money.

It was less, as I bought it a while back, but still worth the extra money for the extra quality, 70° bolt lift, buttery smooth action, and superb accuracy backed by an accuracy guaranty.... I stopped buying “good enough” a while back and started paying more for quality over quantity. I was spending just as much, probably more, buying cheaper rifles then spending sums of money upgrading basically everything instead of just biting the bullet and getting the “upgraded” version to begin with. That rifle is a RPR Lite... for people who want an RPR but don’t want to spend the money on one...

I'd guess that street price will be 250-300 below MSRP. Like FiremanJG said: good scope, good ammo and a bit of trigger time, I betcha it will be a shooter. Lovin' that MagPul stock, and I would imagine that there's an outside chance that they threaded the barrel for those folks who want to go suppressed, not because they thought a muzzle brake was an absolute necessity. . .
