I went on the water buffalo hunt being offered by JAB this weekend. I’ve been on the lookout for a hunt since I needed some meat and wanted to play with my double rifle. It was a fun hunt; after a few miles of walking trying to find the group and then a few try’s to get in the right spot. The whole place is very thick from all the rain which would make it easier to get close to them but they decided to go to a much more open area. We got to 35 yards to make the shot on the best set of horns in the group. I walked away with a awesome animal, a lot of meat, and a memory of a fun hunt.
The rifle is a Sabatti 450/400 Nitro Express

All the meat is now packed in the freezer except for the jerky pile. The skull is clean and drying so I can put the horns back on.
