So far this year we have received in excess of 10.5" of rain at my property in Dickens county compared to the historical average of 4.2". Since I planted my food plots 3 weeks ago over 7" of rain has fallen. It looks like we may be in for a great year with respect to environmental conditions. Keeping my fingers crossed that we have no surprises and our wild life is able to recover from lasts years hardships. I counted at least 12 to 15 qual calling each morning over my 160 acres while I was there. Hoping we all benefit from what appears to be a great start.

I agree. It's always nice starting of the summer with lush and green pastures!

We have no excuses this year. Been green many years now after the 2011 to 2013 drought for us. Can't buy a deer on camera now which is good for antlers and fawns. Wet pattern is continuing. up Looking forward to see if a deer is hitting my one fenced off feeder. Last week more corn than ever was under it meaning deer have more browse to eat. I have never run corn on fenced pens outside of deer season.
