Going to Galveston for a couple days. Anyone have any suggestions for places that I must try.

We like to eat at Little Daddy's Gumbo Bar.

LaKing's Confectionery is a neat old fashioned candy store.

I used to be fond of Gaidos. Loved their Mesquite grilled shrimp. Been a good while since I have been there though.

There was a Guidos across from the Astrodome back in the day. My grandparents always wanted to go there when they came to visit.

The wife looked up Little Daddy’s and that’s for sure on the list to try. I just looked up Gaido’s and that looks like one we will have to hit as well.

Go to Gaidos but don't go in...walk next door to Nicks and eat. Same owner, same kitchen, same food but cheaper.

I know it’s a little late but... we lived in Galveston for five years. Top three for us Benos- seafood, Mosquito Cafe, and Sunflower Cafe. Hope they are all still open.
