I just got the Vortex Viper PST Gen II FFP for may Tikka T1x. I am not a huge fan of Vortex but I think this will be just fine for mine needs. I went with the 20moa rail.

20 MOA rail.

If you're serious put one on that came from a centerfire rifle.

Inexpensive is the Weaver Kaspa. I have one on a 10/22 Mil reticle/ Mil turrets.

needs to focus down to 25 yards, Athalon ETR looks good if you can find one for around $900

Yeah, just need something with parallax adjustment. Accupoint has it too which is why I chose it (10 yrds onward for adjustment)

Dang, Buzz, you’re right about the ETR....may have to swap it over.

I just put a Vortex Diamondback Tactical on my 77/22 with 20 MOA rings. It's FFP and has 85 MOA of adjustment. Only feature missing is the zero stop. Hoping to get to 500 yards with it.

Walk it out to 500, dial back to "0", check zero. Let us know how it does.

I played with it some yesterday. Didn't back up, but I did the box test from the bench at 100. So far so good.

Parallax adjustment is key, many of the Vortex scopes are 50+ but a couple are 25 yds. No doubt there will be targets inside 20 yards at the shoot, maybe even 10.
