No problem that whole river bottom is alfalfa and wheat, they go back and forth

Drew unit 30 first rifle season. My wife will be going on her first western hunt. It's been a couple of years since you have drawn unit 30? My friend and I also drew a tag for Unit 30 first rifle season. It will be nice not to have a full moon this year, hope now for some cooler/colder weather to keep them up a little more that the last few years. Last year with huge rains and the end of ML season, lows only in the upper 50's and full moon made it tough to see anything moving even at sun rise. Good luck Copperhead we might see you there?

No big deal, but I drew Pronghorn, so I'll have more area available to me besides just the private ranch. Finally hunting with Sagebrush this August. Same here.. Looking forward to it.

I drew a rifle elk tag for 45 and rifle deer tag for 45. My son a rifle deer tag for 36.

I killed a nice bull in 45 a few years back and drew a 36 archery mulie tag this year

Ive never hunted 45. Drove thru it a couple times heading to 52. Liked the country so figured i'd give it a shot. Gonna pack into the wilderness. We've killed a couple of decent bucks in 36 over the last few years. Fun area to hunt.

Went zippo for mulies in 17 this year. But you guys doing Unit 15 muzzy hunts..... there are still lots of big boys in there! Goldstein drew ML in 15. Hunted 17 the last few years for Mulies some good ones in there, but 2017 drought was rough and you could see population effects this past season. I saw 18 bulls in Jan while hunting Mulies

Did ML cow hunt last year in 17, saw more antelope than elk!!! But, did see one good elk herd .....ON PRIVATE LAND!!!
