Opinion Poll

I'm trying to decide whether to buff out the scales on this Chefs knife of leave the sanded to a satin finish. On one hand I'd like the look of them buffed out but seeing as it will be a cooking/kitchen knife it would be a little grippier left as a satin finish.
What says the THF brain trust?
