996 16ft welded SeaArk with 40hp Yamaha

Selling to buy a flats boat for the coast

96 Yamaha 40, jacked up on transom, custom stainless prop
It runs great, engine has honestly never failed to start right up and I always use Yamaha lube and fuel conditioner.

New batteries and various other work done to it the last 2 years, LED lights, etc.

Livewell

Spent most of its life stored indoors and really doesnt have that many hours. Trailer in great shape with good tires and new LED lights.

Realistically ran a few weekends a year.

$3500, located in Austin.

Might consider a trade in on my 2001 skeeter listed on this site.

Not interested in trades
Some more info

My dad put it together, he was in the boat business on the coast and a master mechanic.
I know he went through 2 custom prop iterations, i have one as a spare
I am in Austin

I was going to buy a boat for the coast next year but ran across a good deal from an old family friend this week that I can not pass up.
I did some work to it a few weeks ago for the summer. Running boards inside, ice chest, new plug and jack for trolling motor, new sparkplugs

New trailer LEDs last summer and batteries.
Seats are 3 years old.

It isnt shiny, pretty and new but it is very reliable and runs great on the water.
Boat is “tuned” well to run.

Transom width is 67"

It is listed on Craigslist for 3500
I would take 3k

any less than that I would just as soon keep it..
