Opening day in Oklahoma. Been using the bow for the last several years. Sure is nice not biting into pellets when eating your turkey! Hunt was about 40 minutes. Took about 30 patient minutes to get the Tom to come my way. Turkeys can see you in the tree stand across a wheat field very easy. You must be judicious in your calling and movement. Once they are locked on the decoy, the rest is easy. I got about 6 minutes of video of the Tom beating up my jake decoy. I edited the video down to the last 52 seconds. Perfect pass through shot and he ran 30 yards and piled up.

If you shoot them in the head with a shotgun you dont have to worry about the pellets...lol.

I hadnt ever thought of hunting them out of a stand. Always felt like it would make it to where I couldnt be as mobile. Not a bad idea for a bow though.
